Street Words Forum Proceedings at Brussels, 2010

A group of writers, translators, editors and proofreaders have built this text that deals with issues of the street and the fight against poverty and social exclusion. Copies are available in paper and electronically in French, English, Spanish and Portuguese. Each platform of street educators will receive a number of copies for distribution.
This publication is part of the dissemination of the results of the European Year to Fight Poverty and Exclusion and joins in with the Progress Program. We would like to note that the text is a synthesis of the rich discussions and the diversity of this Forum that brought together more than 700 persons from all continents, organized 90 workshops for discussion and exchange, many conferences and side events, and had spaces in common with the Festival of Freedoms in Brussels. The Forum was also attended by youth from several European countries through the program Youth in Action. The publication includes reflections, conference extracts, summaries of workshops, referrals of good practice, and the 33 recommendations presented to the European Parliament as a culmination to the Forum.
